Hey Ethan! Overall, great work on the clone! The change from hitting 2 bikers and then switching the time of day to just infinitely spawning bikers really works for me. The way the new ones zoom in from the sides is really well done and makes it feel like everything in the game is moving at high speeds. One thing I noticed was that I felt a little tall while playing it, at least compared to the trees I was passing but that is a minor gripe. Maybe lowering the player a bit or raising the heights of the trees might sell the "racing through the forest" feeling a bit more, but overall, great job.

Hi Ethan! I am really impressed with your clone. I think your mastery over the procedural trees and the smooth player movement really shows here. I am also a fan of your textures, they do a lot to invoke the original game but they have your unique flavor to them. The little details you’ve added really help make this project come together and I appreciated seeing things like the blinking player sprite when you’ve crashed and the way the new enemies swoop in from the edges after you’ve shot them. The enemy swooping especially looks really great in my opinion. I think I would’ve enjoyed seeing a change to night patrol, but the endless take on having new enemies populate in I think makes up for that. One other small note is that to me it seems the player is a little too high up on the y-axis. I kind of feel like I could be on a Star Wars speeder bike - which actually goes well with the smoothness of your movement and is pretty cool - but if accuracy is the goal, I think it might do a lot to drop down the camera position a little bit. Thanks for sharing this, I enjoyed my time with it!
