Jelly-Break

Jelly-break is a one-week school project where the goal was to emulate a material through the classic game, Breakout. I was given jelly, so using GameMaker 2 I utilized metaball-esque drawing techniques to allow everything to flow, from background to foreground. Slight tweaks like hitpause, particle effects, and breaking off only pieces of each platform helped me sell the jelly feel further.
All art, music, sound effects, designed by me in GameMaker 2, FL Studio, and Photoshop.
